Demand Surcharge

To ensure operational continuity during a period of high demand, DHL will be activating a Demand Surcharge effective October 1, 2026 until February 5, 2027.
Charge amounts and application dates may vary throughout the demand period determined by DHL. Any changes will be subject to prior notice.
Charges apply in EUR per kg (billing weight), based on the shipment’s origin and destination. Fuel Surcharge applies.

Day Definite International ²
During the Demand Period, a flat 0.15 EUR per kg Demand Surcharge applies to all Day Definite International shipping services.
² DHL Economy Select and DHL Economy Breakbulk including the respective Import and 3rd country equivalents.
Time Definite Domestic ³
Effective November 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, a flat 0.10 EUR per kg Demand Surcharge applies to all Time Definite Domestic shipping services.
