Shipment Receivers

The DHL claim policy states that only two parties have the right to submit a claim: the bill-to party (DHL account holder) or, in certain cases, the shipper. Normally it is up to the bill-to party to file any claim with DHL.
With this in mind, if you are the shipment receiver and you believe you are entitled to any claim-related compensation from DHL, we respectfully ask that you contact the shipper or the party who made the shipping arrangements or sold you the goods in question. If the eligible claimant wishes to transfer claim rights to you, they must provide DHL with approved documentation of this request, known as an “assignment of rights.”
