Emergency Situation Surcharge
Update – March 22, 2024
This is a temporary surcharge to cover operating cost increases due to an emergency out of DHL’s control. This includes (but is not limited to) changes in market dynamics and air capacity availability. We will continue to evaluate and adjust this surcharge as market conditions evolve for the duration of the emergency situation.
- Effective April 1, 2024 the Emergency Situation Surcharge is suspended
- The suspension applies from all origins to all destinations and for all products
DHL reserves the right to re-activate the Emergency Situation Surcharge. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at DHL's sole discretion.
