Privacy Policy for Commercial Electronic Messages
We, as the data controller, take maximum security measures to collect, store and disclose personal data in line with the law and to protect your privacy. Our aim is to inform you in accordance with Article 10 of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 in the most transparent way possible about the methods of collection of your personal data, the purposes for which it is processed, the persons with whom it is shared, the legal grounds, and your rights.
a) DATA CONTROLLER: As per Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data will be collected and processed by DHL WORLDWİDE EXPRESS TAŞIMACILIK VE TİC. A.Ş. (“DHL TR”), as the data controller, within the following scope.
b) METHOD OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA, LEGAL BASIS, AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING: The personal data belonging to you - as the person providing products or services, potential purchaser or service-recipient, including senders and consignees - is automatically collected by our Company. Your personal data will be obtained only if you tick the box to indicate your acceptance through the website or mobile application.
Within the scope of Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce as well as the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages, it has been determined that commercial messages sent by service providers to recipients can be sent upon approval of the recipient, except for the exceptions determined by the regulation and, if the recipient gives their consent, then messages will be sent to you via your method of choice (SMS, Email or calls) for such purposes as informing you about marketing activities, advertisements, campaigns and opportunities, and your personal data required for the submission thereof will be processed in line with the following legal reasons as stated in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.

With regards to the response, no fee will be charged for up to ten pages. A processing fee of TRY 1.00 will be charged for each page exceeding ten pages. If the response to a claim is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, the fee that may be charged by us will not exceed the cost of the recording medium. - to request relevant information if his/her personal data has been processed;
- to find out the purpose of the processing of his/her personal data and whether such data is used for the intended purpose;
- to be aware of any third persons to whom his/her personal data is transferred both in Türkiye and abroad;
- to request correction of his/her personal data if it is incomplete or improperly processed, and to request that third parties be informed of any actions taken accordingly;
- to request the deletion or destruction of his/her personal data in the event that the grounds for the processing of the such data no longer exist, despite the fact that it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other applicable legislation, and to request that third parties be informed of any actions taken accordingly;
- to object to any outcome to his/her detriment, through the analysis of processed data exclusively via automatic systems; and
- to request the remedy of losses in the event that he/she incurs losses due to the illegal processing of his/her personal data.
You can provide your claims regarding the use of your above-mentioned rights, in accordance with Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to Data Controller, in writing, along with identity-evidencing information and documents, to our

We reserve the right to verify your identity in order to prevent your personal data from being shared in contradiction with the law.
Your claim must include the following:
- Your name, surname, and your signature if your claim is transmitted in writing;
- Turkish identification number (if a Turkish citizen); proof of nationality, passport number or identification number, if any (if a foreigner);
- Certificate of domicile or work address for the receipt of notifications;
- Electronic mail address, phone or fax number, if any, for the receipt of notifications; and
- Subject of your claim as well as information and documents related to the matter in question.
