Service Alert – Customs Strike in Brazil
|
Since November 26, 2024, Brazilian Customs officers have been operating under limited capacity due to an ongoing strike, with no specified end date. However, most exports and shipments undergoing formal clearance procedures remain unaffected.
Shipments processed through the fast-track green channel are being cleared within 24 hours. Shipments in the yellow, red, and gray channels are experiencing delays of approximately 7 to 8 days.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates, as necessary.

Temporary interruption of our services due to rains and floods in Porto Alegre, RS - Brazil
|
Due to significant rainfall and flooding, we would like to inform you that both the local airport and DHL Express branch in Porto Alegre are currently non-operational, with no estimated timeline for resumption of regular operations.
The severe weather conditions have rendered the entire region of Porto Alegre and several neighboring cities inaccessible by air or road. As a result, our pickup and delivery operations for domestic, import, and export services are temporarily suspended in various cities across the state.
In the meantime, all shipments destined for these regions are being consolidated at our Brazil HUB in São Paulo, SP. They will be routed to their final destinations as soon as conditions allow.
We will promptly provide updates as more information becomes available.
