Federally Registered Nine Digit Business Number (BN) starting with 1,7 or 8. – Example: 7########RM 0001 It has 15 characters. The first 9 digits is your Business number (BN). The next 2 is the program identifier (which is RM for import and export) and the last 4 digits is the reference number: Example: 123456789 RM 0001. Call (800)-959-5525 to obtain or add an Import account to your existing business number.
