DHL Express eSecure – Account Authorisation
| I administer a DHL account and I have received a request from a partner to authorise the usage of the account. How can I approve the request? |
As a DHL account administrator you should have a login to the MyDHL+ site.
From MyDHL+:
- Go to: Login
- Enter the email address from which you received the account request
- Enter your password
- Use Forgot/Reset Password if you have forgotten your password
Once you have logged in:
- Go to: My Shipment Settings > Access eSecure
- Select: Authorised User
- Select status: Pending to view the request(s)
- Select the entry listed and click: Approve (or Reject)
| I can log into MyDHL+ but I cannot find the Access eSecure option. |
You are most likely accessing MyDHL+ with a different email. When logging into MyDHL+, enter the email address from which you received the account request and your password. Use Forgot/Reset Password if you have forgotten your password.
| I will never authorise anyone outside of our company to use the account. How can I control this? |
You can use the My Domain feature to control this. You can specify which email domains you will receive account requests from. Requests from any other email domain will be automatically rejected.
| I regularly receive account requests from suppliers. They need to ship quickly, but due to the time difference they need to wait several hours until I have approved their requests. Can I specify email domains I would like to approve automatically? |
You can use the Authorised Domain feature to control this. You can specify which email domains you would like to approve automatically. Requests from any other email domain will follow the standard approval process.
| How can I revoke an authorisation that is currently using our DHL account? |
Once you have logged into MyDHL+:
- Go to: My Shipment Settings > Access eSecure
- Select: Authorised User
- Select status: Approved to view active authorisations
- Select the entry listed and click: Reject
- The authorisation will be revoked immediately
