DHL has been alerted of the unauthorized use of its business name in SMS messages or emails asking receivers to access fraudulant DHL websites. Beware of phishing SMS message/Email pretending to be sent from DHL to try to trick you to clicking on the embedded link to go a fraudulent website to collect your sensitive personal data and credit card information.
 
DHL wishes to alert our customer the official website domain of DHL is “dhl.com”, “dhl.com.hk” and “dhl-news.com”. When you access our online service via website browser, please verify the domain of the URL. Please do not input any personal information via suspicious links.
 
We encourage you to let us know at your earliest convenience by sending a screenshot of the suspicious SMS/Email to phishing-dpdhl@dhl.com, include the suspicious phone number in the message. After reporting the fraudulent message, please delete the fraudulent SMS/Email after reporting.

Until further notice, DHL Express will not accept shipments of military items subject to national export (or extra-territorial re-export) controls. Customers will be notified as soon as the suspension is lifted.

This suspension does not include domestic shipments or shipments of licensed dual-use items.

If you are uncertain whether your shipment contains military items subject to national export controls, please contact your national licensing authority.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, ad-hoc Service Ticket arrangement was implemented at Service Points to avoid crowds. Other than self-drop shipment, you can print DHL waybill and arrange courier for shipment collection via online tool MyDHL+ . Time to distribute Service Ticket: Mon – Fri, 10AM & 3PM; Sat, 10AM.

Here are some frequently asked questions on shipping epidemic prevention supplies (masks) for your reference, the final document and taxes requirement of each shipment is subject to the customs authority of the destination, please check with respective authority if needed.

Can I send Masks / Hand Sanitizers?

Up to now, there is NO restriction on sending epidemic prevention supplies (such as masks, gloves, goggles, etc.) for non-commercial purpose. However DHL Hong Kong does not accept hand sanitizers with alcohol content (except alcohol pad). For non-alcoholic hand sanitizers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is required to determine if it falls under “Dangerous Goods” category.

What documents are required to send Masks?

Sender is required to prepare the waybill and invoice (2 copies) for customs clearance; however different countries /regions may have different requirements for importing masks and other epidemic prevention supplies.
